Thread: OnPage Otimization vs Offpage Optimization?

Which one is better and why? When you start a website what do you do first? Why I am asking this because I have just booked a new domain and I am thinking to kick it off in a perfect way.

For new website go step by Step. When I have some fresh new website I start with following.
(1) If content is ready that I check whether it is optimized or not. Which is called Content optimization. In this I look for keyword density, frequency etc.I start with this because Content is always King.

(2) Than I check whether images used in my website has proper "Image alt" or not. If not I start giving all image alts.

(3) Start with Market research and Competitor Analysis. Check what others are doing, what keywords they are targeting, what things that they have included and I have not included yet. With this you may get platy of new ideas and keyword ideas.

(4) After that do Keyword research with google adwords tool and wordtracker. Shortlist your keywords as per max Search Volume.

(5) Than generate Title, Meta, Keywords for all pages. Do not repeat any title meta for any pages. They should be unique for all pages.

Thats it you are done with One Page.

Start offpage slowly with a fresh new press release to give Kick start and gradually increase your off page activity.

On page factors are directly related to the content and structure of your website...

For Static website, onpage and off page optimization both are important but for websites like forum which keep adding new contents, off page optimization plays an important role for SEO.

Both are some important part of seo. without on-page optimization, off-page optimization is valueless and without off-page optimization, on-page optimization is help less so I will prefer both.
