Thread: Which Anti-Virus Software you are using?

I am using Avast Free antivirus and I haven't faced any problem. I am using it from last 1.5 years and it's very lightweight also.

Few things I liked is that there are 7 providers like Internet, File System etc. and you can disable some of them you are not using.



Which anti-virus software are you using? Is it free or you have bought it?

I have used Norton, eTrust and mcafee antivirus software. Norton is very heavy and mcafee is not that good.

eTrust is lightweight and the best choice for me but it's not free.

For free, avast is a good option.

I'm also using Avast5 for 3 years. And I'm happy with it. It's on access protection gives me more safety.

I use McAfee OAS it's best anti-virus for my System i like it...

I don't use any. They just eats up your system resources and don't give you anything in return!
Try using nice firewall software and avoid download anything that will make you safe you dont need anti-virus.

I use kasperSky, and I am quite satisfied with it.

@Vilyanuchandra Don't you get Virus than while working on internet? Does Firewall software is sufficient for protraction?

@vilyanuchandra you are only person i'm seeing who is so much faith on their machine's firewall system.. Great. Are you using Linux system?

For Me, Avast Free Version is best and I am using it from last 3 years and have only faced 2-3 issued till now..

I'm currently using Avg Free becuse it's free and i was getting tired of putting in a new key from Google each month becuse i didn't want to spend money at Nod32 ^^

I use none for now xD I used to use NOD and Kaspersky .
